To start the Pre-ID process:

1. Click on the links to Detailed Instructions and File Specification and review the information before submitting the file.
2. Create your Pre-ID file of demographic information for the students who will be tested.
3. If you need to adjust any information in this file, send a complete replacement.

To submit the file online:

1. Fill out the contact information. Asterisked fields are required.
2. Type in the file name or click on Browse to find the file on your computer.
3. Click the Upload button to transfer the file to Pearson.
4. You will receive a message "testxxxx.txt" of size 130kb has been successfully uploaded.
5. If there is no status, contact Pearson technical support listed under Contact Us.

What is a Pre-ID Contact?

The Pre-ID Contact is the person designated in your profile to handle Pre-ID. The Pre-ID Contact will receive the status report for your Pre-ID upload.

Remember this Pre-ID Contact?

If you don't want to type in the Pre-ID contact every time you log in, we have to "remember" it. In order to do that, we need to give you a "cookie" that will store this technical contact information on your computer. That way, whenever you are asked for a technical contact, we'll know to re-use this information.
