System Requirements

Pearson will include with the regular mailing, a cover letter containing a unique user ID and password, and Terms and Conditions of Use. Additional ID's will be provided upon request, but control of access to the site will be the responsibility of the customer and customer-designated users.

Access to this system will be tracked and activity will be logged, but traceability directly to individuals accessing or updating information in this system will not be possible.

Hardware Requirements

IBM and Macintosh systems with adequate operating system software, RAM, disk space, processor speed and Internet connection to support the browser should be able to access the system. Monitor should have a minimum resolution of 800x600 pixels.

System allows access via standard Internet connection through an Internet Service Provider (ISP). This system will not support direct dial-up connections.

Software Requirements

Internet browser Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5.x or Netscape Navigator® 6.1 or higher is required.

This system also employs one-way SSL (secure sockets layer) security similar to that commonly provided on other web sites for credit card transactions.
